This is Allie helping me make bread.

These are the beautiful carrots from the garden.  I usually have ugly carrots so this year I hardly planted any and now look how nice they are.

Our Giant

Almost 6 inches in diameter.  Let me just tell you that this baby was so juicy and delicious.

Tomatoes

Pretty much I think we have the best and most beautiful tomatoes EVER!!!!

And tons of them too.

The Garden

One afternoon the girls had incredible naps giving Greg and I time to tackle our garden.  Greg retilled the furrows, I pulled weeds, we raked, chopped, pruned and dug and in the end we had a spectacular looking garden.  Now if only it would stay that way.  I took pictures because I knew weeds would be growing again by the next day but it looked so fantastic for one afternoon.

Our tomatoes which now have blossoms.

We have tomatoes, peppers, onions, peas, beans, carrots, beets, cabbage, broccoli, cucumbers and zucchini.

The spring has been rather cool so the cabbages and broccoli are extra beautiful.

In the garden

We always have these giant volunteer sunflowers growing in our garden. This year I planted some along one edge. They are beautiful but they only stand tall for a little while. Here is one of our tallest.
This year I planted a border of Zinneas along one edge of our garden as well. I love Zinneas. They are so colorful and pretty. They are easy to grow and you can save their seeds to replant the next year.

Allie thinks they are beautiful too.
