Sunday Morning with Mr. Handsome

Our friends the Hatt family gave Treyson this adorable little tie and once again I just couldn't resist taking his picture 100 times.  He and daddy make such a handsome pair.

What angelic children I have (well in photographs anyways-and most of the time in real life)

Practicing our Talks and Testimonies

At the park there is this rock water fountain.  It is no longer working (or at least not currently working) but my girls have found another great use for it...a place to practice giving a talk and sharing your testimony.  Allie is very dramatic these days and likes to do performances all the time and now we can add impromptu talks as well.
She is really getting into it.

Of course if big sissy is doing it then little sissy has to try too.

Absolute favorite picture of the week.

All grown up and ready for church

When I was home in Canada I noticed that my mom still had this scripture bag that she made for me as a kid.  It was very first one.  I snatched it up and brought it home for Allie and figured I would give it to her someday.  Sometimes she is excited about stuff like that and sometimes she could care less.  On this Sunday (May 28th) she just seemed so big and grown up and looked so cute so I asked if she wanted it and she was thrilled.
I love this picture-with her arm around Brailie.  They are becoming such good friends.  I am happy to report there is more playing than fighting going on in our house generally.

Church History Museum

After being home from Canada for 4 days I packed my bags once again to head to Oklahoma with my mom for Time Out for Women sponsored by Deseret Book.  It was fantastic.  Greg stayed home with the girls and I went alone with my mom.  We met in Oklahoma.  It was so great to spend time with her, so great to have time alone, and so great to listen to so many amazing speakers and wonderful music.  It was also great to come home and have my three sweeties meet me at the airport.  Allie and Brailie were so excited to see me.  That was a wonderful feeling.  After they picked me up, which was early in the morning, we went to the Church History Museum because I had read about an exhibit they have for kids all about the Book of Mormon.  The girls loved it.  There was Nephi's boat where you could go fishing and steer it, there was wooden dolls with cloths to recreate stories from the scriptures, there was a replica of the golden plates, blocks to build your own temple, a little recreation of a house in central america where you could sit down for dinner with the missionaries.  It had food, pots and pans and a little kitchen.  This was Allie's favorite part.  There was a section with chickens where you could go and collect the eggs (they were stuffed chickens of course).  There was also a little truck to drive and music and costumes to dress up in and dance to the hispanic music.  It was so fun.  The girls loved it.  After we went and explored the prophets/temples section.

Pictures before church

I took a minute to snap some picture before church this morning-because they would actually let me.
Look-two cheesy grins for the camera at the same time, sitting side by side, not blurry-MIRACULOUS
And then there is some of this. Brailie looks like she is ready to thump Allie.
This is the usual reaction when we ask her to pose these days. Oh well she is still sweet.
I love this one. What a natural little cutey. Please never grow up into a grouchy teenager.
